Did you know that-
There are more homeless in this day and age than there have ever been. The homeless live in parks, under bridges, in abandoned buildings, in the woods, on the streets and in vehicles. Families with children are homeless, people that have pets are homeless, Christians are homeless, and that there are homeless people living all along the Republican River!
The homeless often do not know how to use a computer, or other technology. Middle age people and older people often go homeless because they are no longer wanted or no longer can perform as well as younger people. People that are mentally ill often become homeless, as well as the learning disabled and the undereducated. Most shelters only allow the homeless to stay at a shelter for a few days up to a month, creating a revolving door lifestyle. There are a few shelters around the United States that rehabilitate and educate. Refugees are often homeless and immigrants may be homeless.
